Eng.Khaled Gasser

is one of the founder and chairmen of SEDA (Solar Energy Development Association) which considered being the gate for solar energy in Egypt. This NGO planned to gather the stack-holders in solar energy including manufacture, traders, installers, academic researchers and governmental key persons in order to enhance the roll of solar energy in our country.
He is the managing director for EGREEN Company which works in the field of solar water heating system, LED solar lights and solar power stations. Besides, he is managing and share-holding Mesalla Company which mainly works as importers, stockiest and whole sellers for stainless steels material, pipes and valves.
He has the Master degree in science of material from London university and introduced many paper in the problems of the industry sector in general in Egypt and a vision towards involve the sustainable development in our country by redirecting the subsidy of the fossil fuel towards improving the quality of the people service in education , social and medical security.



Dr. Mohamed El-Morsi

is an associate professor at the Mechanical Engineering Dept., School of Sciences and Engineering of the American University in Cairo (AUC). He joined AUC in spring 2008. Dr El-Morsi received his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Ain Shams University. In 2002, he received his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Later, he spent two and a half years as a postdoctoral student in the Computational Mechanics Center at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During this time he was working on CFD modeling for immersion lithography. In 2007, he was awarded the Chevening Fellowship from the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, UK to study energy efficiency for three months at the Institute of Energy and Sustainable Development, De Montfort University, Leicester, UK. Since 2007, he has been involved in many activities related to solar and renewable energy. He worked as a consultant for Transworld Development & Trading Co., Cairo, Egypt, to evaluate the use of solar energy for water desalination using the humidification-dehumidification desalination technique. Dr El-Morsi is one of the co-founders of the Solar Energy Development Association.

Eng. Wael Madkour

Is one of the founder and Secretary-General of SEDA (Solar Energy Development Association), He is Solar Energy Consultant and Chief Operator officer of International Academy Of Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency (IAREEE).

He supports Renewable Energy Shift (RES) for public and private sector organizations in their evaluation, development, and financing of renewable energy and energy efficiency. In his work as an expert, Mr. Wael helps clients commercialize new technologies and develop solar projects. 

He has more than 20 years of experience in renewable energy, energy efficiency & building automation systems at design, demonstration, analysis, engineering, implementation, testing and project management. His unique understanding of the policy, commercial and technology issues of solar energy & energy efficiency sector enables him to give technical and strategic advice to organizations, businesses, researchers and investors.
